By adding Swarve Music to your Discord server or interacting with it, you accept the practices described in this policy.

Swarve Music only collects the minimum data necessary for its operation:

Server Data

  • Discord server ID
  • Bot settings (prefix, music channel, DJ roles)
  • Server playlists (if created)

User Data

  • Discord user ID (for personal playlists)
  • Played songs history (optional, if enabled)
  • Favorite songs (if saved)

What We DON'T Collect

  • Private messages or chat content
  • Personally identifiable information (real name, email, address)
  • Voice data or audio recordings
  • Payment or financial information

3. Use of Data

We use collected data exclusively to:

  • Provide and maintain bot functionality
  • Save your server's custom settings
  • Enable features like playlists and favorites
  • Improve user experience and bot performance
  • Diagnose and solve technical issues
  • Generate aggregated and anonymous statistics

4. Storage and Security

All data is stored on secure servers with the following protection measures:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
  • Access restricted to authorized personnel only
  • Regular backups in multiple locations
  • Continuous security monitoring and intrusion detection

Data is retained while the bot is active on your server. When removing the bot, server data is automatically deleted within 30 days.

5. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

We only share data in the following circumstances:

  • With essential service providers (hosting, database) under strict confidentiality agreements
  • When required by law or valid legal process
  • To protect our legal rights or prevent illegal activities

Swarve Music complies with Discord's Terms of Service, which require users to be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in their country).
